"Morning Reflections" — This piece is part of a new series of small original paintings. I wanted to have some original art that was more approachable for new collectors or those adding to a gallery wall. It’s been a great way to celebrate my favorite Michigan places and memories. I hope they evoke a sense of nostalgia for your favorite Michigan memories.

Get to know me!
I am a painter, teacher who draws inspiration from the natural world. Most of my professional work has been in watercolor and mixed media, but I experiment with many media, including clay, cut paper, cyanotype, pastel, gouache, ink, and graphite drawing. Nestled in our home in the woods, I started Two Hoots Studio with my partner James Manning. We have since launched a website dedicated to James’ incredible photography.
