Chasing Summer’s Last Light

Sunshine sings of summer on sweet September days,
While frigid foggy first-light foreshadows fall’s phase
Harvesting high hopes from haunting hollows and hills,
Daring to dream through drear before winter denies wills
Nervous new moon nights filled with neverending notions,
Camera sensor capturing the cryptic cosmic motions
Moon moment manifesting over morning moody mist,
Illumination ignites ichor, inspiration for our inner idealist

Cabin Commissions

A close friend commissioned Elizabeth for a painting of her childhood family cabin on Drummond Island as a surprise for her mom. It was a pleasure to work on and even more exciting to see how much joy it brought to the client and her family.
